We take responsibility
On September 3, 140 volunteers of all ages from different cities in Romania joined the River Cleanup Collective @Danube, launched by the Schwarz Group across countries and sectors. The cleanup was organized by Kaufland Romania and the NGO Act for Tomorrow with the help of local partners. In total, more than 2.8 tons of waste were removed from the environment. Despite the inclement weather with low temperatures and rain, the Romanian volunteers were in good spirits and cleaned up the banks of our most important river at five different locations along its course, from where it enters the country to where it flows into the Black Sea.
